Co-founders Suzie and Michelle met in 2016 while working together as aesthetic injectors. As their friendship grew, so too did their mastery of aesthetics, and both steadily grew large and loyal patient followings. With their passion for delivering gentle, yet impactful, results for their patients, Suzie and Michelle realized that they wanted more for their patients than the standard medspa experience.

“We noticed that there was a gap in the industry - there weren't many luxurious, high-end medical spas. Patients had to choose between physicians’ offices with outrageous prices or generic-feeling medical spas that all targeted the exact same demographic. The industry was leaning heavily on marketing to the young, white female. One day we sat down at a table and each wrote what we wanted for our patients. We both ended up writing the same thing: We want our patients to feel better about themselves when they leave their appointment, regardless if they receive a treatment.”

Suzie and Michelle were able to do just that for their patients when they opened The Fitz in the summer of 2020. After starting with a modest staff and relying on their long-time patients to help grow the business, Suzie and Michelle have grown The Fitz into one of the most successful medical aesthetics centers in Chicago. The Fitz has well-respected providers who are passionate about full-face rejuvenation and restorative skincare. The team is educated on treating different skin types and colors, and the staff is welcoming to all patients - no matter their backgrounds.
